Compass has released the first beta version of Wind Tunnel, based on Tdyn CFD. Our proposal is perform fluid simulations for aerodynamic analysis in the simplest, easiest and fastest way.
The goal of this new tool is to allow anyone to perform an aerodynamic study of a test object in just 3 steps, requiring less than 1 minute of effort from the user. The test object can be virtually anything, including the typical cars, bicycles, airplanes, trains, and vehicles in general, but also any type of building, such as skyscrapers, bridges, antennas, silos and many more.
Tdyn Wind Tunnel is intended for anyone who, without being a CFD expert, can benefit from an aerodynamic analysis.
This beta version is open for a free trial. If you are interested, please download the installer and let us know using the contact form and we will give you a temporary license for a month.
In the near future Compass will release a plugin to use Tdyn Wind Tunnel from Rhinoceros. In this way, it will be possible to take advantage of the design capabilities of Rhinoceros together with the simplicity and computational power of Tdyn Wind Tunnel.
