On this occasion, we have initiated a training cycle with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/monlau-motorsport.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MONLAU  MOTUL TECHNICAL SCHOOL<\/a> <\/strong>aimed at introducing students to the world of simulation and numerical modeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first session, given by our colleague <strong>Fernando Rastellini<\/strong>, began with a presentation of the company and an introduction to the motivation and application of <strong>numerical methods<\/strong> in engineering, with special focus on the <strong>finite element method (FEM)<\/strong> and its role in the design and optimization of high competition equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The class combined theory and practice: after reviewing basic concepts such as <strong>one-way bars<\/strong>, students were able to experiment with examples in Python using <strong>sopyfem<\/strong> software, freely modifying the input data to understand first-hand the impact on the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interest was remarkable: several students came up at the end of the session to comment on their motivation to apply these techniques to real <strong>aerodynamic problems on racing motorcycles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the next sessions, the professor of the Department of Strength of Materials and Engineering Structures of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upc.edu\/en?set_language=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UPC<\/a>, <strong>Daniel Di Capua,<\/strong> and the researcher of the UPC <strong>Juan Marcelo Gim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, deepened in the <strong>calculation of structures<\/strong> and <strong>CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)<\/strong>, introducing the use of our applications<strong>  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.compassis.com\/en\/tdyn\/\">Tdyn<\/a><\/strong> y<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.compassis.com\/en\/wind-tunnel\/\">Tdyn Wind Tunnel  <\/a><\/strong>applications, key tools for mechanical and aerodynamic analysis in highly demanding environments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>COMPASSIS<\/strong> we believe in training that connects knowledge with practice, bringing <strong>numerical simulation<\/strong> closer to the real challenges of modern engineering and the demands of high performance industry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At COMPASSIS we continue to promote technical excellence through our training programs for leading companies and centers in industrial sectors.
