Today, the first general assembly of the european project FIBRE4YARDS<\/a> has taken place. The assembly, which has been held by videoconference due to COVID restrictions, has had the participation of the 13 companies of the Consortium, which have made a balance of the activities and results of the first year of life of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FIBRE4YARDS seeks to transfer advanced manufacturing technologies in composite materials, as well as production digitization methodologies (digital twins and Shipyard4.0) to the shipbuilding industry from other competitive industrial sectors. The project has been funded by the Horizon 2020 Research and Development program of the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
