How to obtain the Nastran Interface:
To be able to use the Nastran Interface, you have to use the
Internet Retrieve function in the GiD menu option 'Data->Problem Type->Internet Retrieve'. From a list of available modules, which can be obtained by clicking 'Retrieve list', select Nastran (Nastran Examples if wanted). Internet Retrieve will automatically install the Nastran Interface into your GiD Installation. For more information, please contact us at info@compassis.com.
Notes:
Both of the executable files function in a DEMO modes limited for
calculations of small models only. The full version can be activated by
inserting a password in the menu: 'Help->Register y Help->Register
module'. To obtain the password for any of our systems, please go to
our passwords page.

Installation in Windows
|
|
The installation file contains all the components of
the program, together with the pre/post-processing GiD.
Simply execute the file Compass-FEM7.1xx-win.exe and follow the installation
instructions.

Installation in Linux/UNIX
|
|
The installation file contains all the components of the program,
together with the pre/post-processing GiD.
Once you download the installation file to your hard disk,
simply execute this command:
chmod +x Compass-FEM7.1xx-win-Linux-i386-glibc
This will run Compass-FEM7.1xx-win-Linux-i386-glibc and then follow the
installation instructions.
