Tdyn Preprocessing

Tdyn includes a fully integrated pre and post processing environment, designed for direct use of CAD data, combined with high quality modelling facilities, reducing redundancy and costs associated with model development.

The pre-processing tools allows the creation of complex geometries defined by typical CAD entities, such as NURBS or COONS surfaces, through the variety of tools available. In the same way, it is able to import standard CAD files in IGS and DXF formats among others.

To help the smoothness of the geometry definition process, Tdyn counts on a variety of CAD tools, visualization options and an intuitive graphical interface, helping to reduce learning time and improve efficiency.

Once the geometry definition is finished, the problem data is entered in the same graphical environment.

Data Definition

Tdyn offers a consistent and intuitive interface for definition of boundary conditions, material properties and other data. Data definition is performed at geometry level, being independent of the mesh/es used in the analyses.

Tdyn uses a versatile tree-like interface for data managing, allowing an easy control of the whole process of entering the analysis data.

To help the data definition process, Tdyn provides tools to easily configure the type of the analysis to be carried out (structural analysis, CFD, multi-physics, fluid-structure interaction, ...). Based on the selection done, Tdyn is adapted to minimize the time required to enter the required data.

Mesh Generation

Tdyn includes high quality and high speed mesh generation algorithms, as well as utilitites that can automate most of the process.

Tdyn meshing technology includes a suite of tools to create high-quality unstructured, structured and semi-structured meshes, including boundary layer meshes in an automatic way and verify the quality of the generated elements.

Finally, Tdyn provides you with a variety of tools allowing you to have a perfect control over the process and to verify its quality.
