GiD allows you to work with geometric modules of an arbitrary complexity imported from any CAD system using different formats of the geometrical data interchange. At the same time, the system enables you to construct models directly in it using plenty of tools for designing new models, as well as modifying the existing ones. GiD applies all the conditions and material properties to the geometry and generates the mesh of the surface, as well as inside of the model.

GiD visualizes results of the analysis using techniques like: contour fill, contour lines, particle tracking, deformations, primary tensions and many others. Using all these different techniques allows you to understand quickly any three-dimensional analysis results.
